Your workplace

The ambulance service in Värmland is county-wide with ambulances located in twelve locations. We are looking for a new employee for the ambulance station in Torsby. The ambulance service faces challenges in the emergency care of the injured and sick in various environments. Through assessment and referral, we contribute to ensuring that care is provided at the right level.

Your tasks

The ambulance in Torsby is looking for an ambulance nurse/nurse for both day and night shifts. The job includes assessing, referring, caring for, and transporting patients to the right level of care, as well as standard tasks for nurses within ambulance care.

Health and medical care is based on our patients' needs and our employees' competencies. We want to drive health and medical care forward together with our employees.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for a licensed ambulance nurse/nurse with at least 1 year of clinical experience. A B driver's license is required with at least 3 years of driving experience. A C1/C driver's license is an advantage.

As a person, you are structured, service-oriented, and flexible. You are self-sufficient in your work but also enjoy working in collaboration with other colleagues.

Before any employment, you must undergo work tests and complete an approved health check conducted by the region. Region Värmland promotes a drug-free work environment and applies mandatory drug testing for new hires.
