Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a woman in her 25s living in Särö
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has experience in similar work
• has experience with epilepsy
• is smoke-free
• can tolerate pets

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience with cerebral palsy
• have experience with cognitive variations
• are interested in staying on as a substitute in the fall

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

We are looking for two personal assistants. The position is a summer temporary job and is approximately 50%. The job involves working during the day and evening according to the following shifts: 09:00-16:00, 16:00-23:00, and 10:00-18:00 on both weekdays and weekends. The temporary position is scheduled from week 27 to week 31.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
