Personal Assistant Wanted

Who am I:
I am a cheerful wheelchair-bound woman living in Anneberg (northern Kungsbacka) with my husband and dog. My interests include my dog, being outdoors in nature, meeting people, flowers, my home and garden, and music.

This is what a day might look like for me:
In the morning, I need help with my morning routines such as using the toilet, showering, and getting dressed. We have coffee together and go through the day's events. Then we drive off in my car and take a walk (sometimes with search and tracking with my dog on the agenda). Some days I need to do shopping, get a haircut, train in the pool, go to medical appointments, etc. We always have lunch and coffee together during the day. I also usually take a nap in the middle of the day. Routines are A & O for me, but so is a fun adventure and a good laugh every now and then.

I need help with my toilet visits, showering, dressing and undressing, and transfers. Household chores such as cleaning, laundry, taking care of my flowers indoors and outdoors, training, and my furry friend. I use a manual wheelchair indoors which I operate myself, and outdoors I always have my powered wheelchair and my adapted car.

Who are you:
I am looking for a woman who is cheerful & positive as well as flexible and sees unpredictable events more as an adventure than a worry. You who are applying for the position should be positive, meticulous, flexible, have a driver's license for a manual car, be non-smoking, and not have pet allergies. If you have experience in personal assistance, that’s great but it’s not a requirement.

About the position:
Fixed schedule Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00. There is an opportunity for a fixed schedule of between 20-100% depending on which days you are scheduled. Please indicate in your application what working hours you are interested in and which weekdays you would like to have on a fixed schedule. We are looking for 1 or 2 assistants.
