Job Responsibilities

Ung i sommar is an opportunity for young people in Malmö aged 16 - 19 to intern during the summer, earn money, gain work experience, and make connections. Internship positions are available in both municipal and private sectors as well as in community organizations.

As a supervisor for Ung i sommar at the Department of Support for People with Disabilities, you will be responsible for a group of approximately 10-15 interns. The Ung i sommar internship with us includes study visits, group work, lectures, and joint projects that you, as a supervisor, will coordinate.

To assist you, there are packages with information and support materials and various identified tasks that the group of interns will work on, as well as suggestions for joint projects for the group. There is also room to adapt and develop these project ideas based on your skills and experience as a supervisor and the group's interests.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is studying at a university or college or who has completed their studies. It is advantageous if you have experience or education in LSS and the field of disabilities, as well as experience in leading or supervising groups of young people. Experience or knowledge in culture, sports, IT, or communication is also meritorious as you will be working on various projects.

As a person, you are responsible and feel confident in leading a group of young people, which requires you to be both clear and empathetic. You also need to be structured with the ability to be solution-focused and see how you can tackle tasks in ways that suit both individuals and the group. We also see that you can create good relationships and a positive collaborative climate in the group and that you have a coaching approach, communicate clearly, and in this way create a sense of security so that the interns dare to challenge themselves.

To be eligible for a position as a supervisor, you need to be available to work throughout the entire period of the assignment.
