The Institute for Labor Market and Educational Policy Evaluation (IFAU) is a government research institute with about 50 employees. IFAU evaluates labor market policy, educational policy, and social insurance policy, as well as conducting studies of the labor market's functioning. The institute is closely affiliated with Uppsala University and is a very strong research environment focused on empirical labor market research. IFAU is seeking a researcher with a social science focus

Are you interested in issues related to the labor market, education, and social insurance, have a higher education in social sciences, and an analytical approach?

Responsibilities

As a researcher at IFAU, you will work with analyses and report writing within our areas. You need to be able to independently drive projects, analyze documents, conduct surveys and interviews, but also enjoy working in a group. In this role, we are not looking for someone who primarily works with the analysis of register data.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a higher education in social sciences and experience in qualified studies and analyses.

You have:

· An academic degree in political science or another social science subject

· Good analytical skills and experience working with social issues

· Interest in our research areas

· Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, and you are a skilled writer

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious

Familiarity with social science research and evaluation.

Duration and scope

The position is a permanent employment with placement in Uppsala. We apply a 6-month probationary period. Salary is determined based on competence and experience.

The scope is 100 percent. Start date: immediately or by agreement.
