The ear, nose, and throat clinic (ENT) in Helsingborg is part of the healthcare area (VO) of dermatology, ear, nose, and throat, and ophthalmology at Skåne's northwest hospitals. The ENT consists of outpatient units with planned and emergency services, an ear ward, and surgical operations. The clinic conducts elective services with general outpatient care as well as specialist clinics for hearing, voice, allergies, and balance disorders, sleep apnea, and patients with tumor diseases. The clinic employs doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and audiologists. We are open Monday to Friday.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will have several different administrative responsibilities based on your skills, interests, and the needs of the operation. The various tasks provide a varied job with development opportunities. Your tasks will include writing medical records and contacting patients and relatives. We have scheduled shifts with different tasks, contributing to great variation in the work.

As medical secretaries in our healthcare area have a central role, you will be involved in many different processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an approved education in Health and Medical Care Administration 80 credits (KY) or 400 credits (YH) or equivalent education as a medical secretary. You have good computer skills and a solid understanding of medical terminology. Since you will be working with medical documentation and have daily patient contact, it is important that you have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Previous experience with Melior, MedSpeech, PASiS, 1177 is an advantage for the position. Furthermore, we would like you to have experience in outpatient work.

As a person, you are positive, highly engaged, and motivated to work towards the goals of the organization. You enjoy working independently, are meticulous, and take personal responsibility but also appreciate collaboration. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
