We are looking for a teacher

This position is divided between two of our schools in Upplands Väsby, Fresta and Vira. Both schools are well-equipped with craft classrooms and are located not far from each other. As a teacher with us, you will work based on a pedagogical model we call the Learning Model, which involves organizing teachers into teams that teach students across subjects together in a grade. In your role as a teacher, you create conditions for learning and guide students towards the goals of the operation. You plan, implement, and evaluate the teaching together with your team teacher colleagues. You will participate in development work, team collaboration, and are expected to cooperate with colleagues in various ways.

The interdisciplinary work is based on assignments built according to LGR22, which provides a supportive framework for equity and quality. The assignments, in turn, contain clear elements of cooperative and value-creating learning. In this way, school becomes more meaningful and much more fun for our students. In your role as a teaching teacher in the subject of crafts, we expect you to be able to collaborate and inspiringly connect the teaching in crafts to the assignments the students are working on. We see that subjects in school are placed in context with each other and form a whole for our students. School becomes so much more enjoyable!

By working according to the Learning Model throughout the entire company Lärande Preschools and Primary Schools, there is an opportunity for collaboration with other craft teachers across our school boundaries.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, we see that you have:

• Teaching certification with authorization in the subject of crafts.
• Previous experience in pedagogical work as a teacher.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked with students in grades 4-6.
