Our target group is adults with substance abuse issues, clients range from active use to stable sobriety/drug-free status.
At Arthur, there is a team of 10 treatment assistants and a group leader. You will work based on a coordination role where you, together with the client, plan and follow up on their individual implementation plan according to the assignment from the placing authority.

Your Responsibilities

We work with harm reduction and a health-promoting approach, which in this context means that you support the client in finding strategies to manage and alleviate the negative consequences of harmful use and/or dependence. The client should, with your support and the resource team, find tools to cope with an independent life where we map and work with basic ADL through various methods.
We use evidence-based methods such as MI, ESL, Relapse Prevention, CRA, and ASI as part of our work to support the client in achieving both short-term and long-term goals.
Motivational interviewing, social training through activities with clients, urine screening/breath tests, practical work, cleaning, grocery shopping, etc. are included in your responsibilities. Driving is often required in the job as many meetings and activities take place both in Södertälje and in Stockholm County. Longer trips may also occur for transport or visits to treatment facilities.
You will regularly document our interventions and work in our operational system Combine. You will also participate in network meetings and collaborate with both internal and external partners.

Who Are You?

Requirements:
- Social pedagogue/treatment assistant education or equivalent but at least two years of full-time studies.
- You must have knowledge of addiction and experience working with clients in an affected state.
- B driver's license

Meritorious:
- Experience with individuals with complex care needs and comorbidity is an advantage.
- Training in treatment methods for addiction care; MI, Relapse Prevention, CRA, ESL, among others.
- Experience working based on the SMART goals model.

- Practical and theoretical knowledge of the low-arousal approach and harm reduction methods.

Personal Qualities:
We are looking for engaging employees who, with a curious, creative, and brave approach, tackle and contribute to the challenges and opportunities we face. You have the ability to provide extensive support without compromising the person's right to self-determination or taking responsibility for the person's life. You believe that change is possible and can convey calm and a positive feeling to individuals even under difficult circumstances.
We work with the client in focus, so building an alliance in the relationship with the client is a cornerstone of the work. With an individual approach, you also need to be flexible, brave, and unpretentious, where the diversity of the workgroup is a strength.
As we collaborate with internal and external partners, you need to have good communication skills, be responsible, and structured in your work approach. Interviews may begin during the application period.

We Offer You

- Joint development time with your colleagues every week
- Wellness allowance of 3000 SEK per year
