What We Do and Want

At the Family Care Unit, family home secretaries, child secretaries, emergency home secretaries, and contact secretaries work together.

The Family Care is responsible for the recruitment and guidance of family homes, emergency homes, contact persons, and contact families for children and youth. We always strive to find the best match for each child who needs our intervention and invest heavily in marketing, recruitment, and retaining our contractors. The unit also includes family law. Together, we are about twenty dedicated employees with varying ages and experiences. It is important that we enjoy and support each other in the workplace to achieve our set goals. The unit manager leads the unit together with two group leaders and wants our employees to feel that they have our support to stay motivated and feel secure.

About the Position

Tyresö municipality is investing in family care and expanding with a new position. We are looking for you who want to join our team as a family home secretary.

The Family Care Unit has for several years made a conscious focus on recruiting emergency and family homes, with the aim of developing support for our contractors to retain them. A creative recruitment team has worked together to create a high-quality operation that we are proud of today. We always have ambitions to find the best match for each individual child. Within the municipality, we also invest in Signs of Safety and work together based on this approach to find optimal cooperation with both biological parents, other networks, and the family home.

The position includes recruiting, investigating, and guiding our family homes in close collaboration with other colleagues. You will also work closely with the unit's child secretaries to provide the placed children with the best and most qualitative care possible. You will complement a group that enjoys working together!

The position is permanent with immediate start or by agreement. Tyresö municipality offers annual working hours, vacation exchange, and wellness grants.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are a trained social worker and have experience in authority exercise, preferably from family home care. Perhaps you are thinking that you are eager for a change and want to apply to a pleasant workplace?

You are described as a colleague that others would like to have in their team, and you can share both successes and shortcomings. Since the work involves creating relationships, we want you to have a good ability to build relationships and communicate clearly and smoothly. You are flexible and do not mind helping colleagues where needed. Documentation comes naturally to you, and you are clear in your communication. Of course, you have a warm demeanor and prioritize the child's best interests.

Longer experience in family care and training in the new interview method Kälvesten are seen as positive, but we place great importance on personal suitability.

A driver's license is necessary as the position involves a lot of travel.
