Summer Temporary Positions in Functional Support LSS and Social Psychiatry

Within Functional Support LSS and Social Psychiatry, we work primarily with adults who have intellectual and/or mental disabilities (sometimes in combination with motor difficulties) and therefore have a need for special support and services. We also provide short-term stays for children and adolescents according to LSS. In our operations, we collectively take responsibility for ensuring that safety, respect, and influence permeate our work and that we maintain a good quality for our users.

We utilize pedagogical methods such as alternative and augmentative communication, low-arousal approaches, visual supports, daily schedules, etc. In our LSS residences, we are also implementing the digital operational support Boet to promote the user's independence and participation, as well as to increase safety for both users and staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for summer temporary staff for our group and service residences. Our operations are 24/7, and the working hours are varied; day, evening, weekend, and night. The work involves providing users with support and services in their daily lives. This includes everything from common household chores found in a home to assistance with personal care, hygiene, structure during leisure activities, and social contacts. The support is tailored to the individual's own abilities, needs, and wishes. This means that you may accompany users to places such as swimming areas, shopping centers, healthcare centers, or recycling stations. You will be part of a team but will also work independently as well as collaboratively with colleagues.

The position includes maintaining social journals and managing digital tools, as well as following established routines for both the user and the organization as a whole.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed secondary education
• Good computer skills as the work requires handling various digital systems.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as social documentation is a central part of the work.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Previous experience working with the LSS target group
• Practical experience with alternative communication methods and communication aids.
