The Social Administration is characterized by being a non-prestigious administration where it is easy to collaborate with all employees, and the decision-making paths are short and simple. The Adult Department is part of the Social Administration, and our most important task is to ensure that our residents receive the help and support they need. We consist of 33 employees and are led by a department manager and four group leaders responsible for different areas. We are located in Mörby Centrum, 14 minutes by subway from T-Centralen. Our office has fresh premises with good technology. There are also many small rooms for discussing with each other or receiving visitors. We also work from home as needed.

We are now looking for a social worker specializing in domestic violence who wants to become part of the workgroup for Employment, Support, Domestic Violence, and Administration consisting of nine colleagues and one group manager. There are five social workers working with financial support, one social worker specializing in domestic violence, two employment coaches, and one administrative assistant. You will be responsible for making assessments of relevant interventions based on exposure to violence and, together with the group manager and quality and development strategist, be responsible for developing the work surrounding domestic violence in the municipality. The current social worker specializing in domestic violence will step up as the group manager, which means you will receive the best introduction and support in your role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of social worker specializing in domestic violence, you will work with adult residents who are victims or perpetrators of domestic violence or honor-related violence and oppression, as well as prostitution and human trafficking. Responsibilities included in your assignment:

• Provide advice, support conversations, and coordinate and contribute practical help as needed.
• Receive applications, investigate, assess, and follow up on interventions according to the Social Services Act for adults who are victims or perpetrators of domestic violence or honor-related violence and oppression, as well as prostitution and human trafficking.
• Represent the administration and collaborate with both internal and external partners.
• Be a support for the administration's employees in matters concerning domestic violence, honor-related violence, and oppression, as well as prostitution and human trafficking.
• Together with the quality and development strategist and group manager, be responsible for operational development issues, such as establishing guiding documents and implementing methods.
• Work preventively by, for example, informing about violence and the support that can be offered to victims and perpetrators.

The assignment also includes providing support for financial assistance as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with:

• A degree in social work and training in domestic violence.
• Knowledge and experience in the FREDA assessment methods.
• Experience in authority exercise (worked with investigating domestic violence within social services).
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Other experience in authority exercise within another unit of social services.
• Worked with financial assistance.
• Experience with the operational system Treserva.

You are considerate and demonstrate good collaboration skills with a non-prestigious focus on the common goals of the organization. Furthermore, you actively take initiative in social contexts and find it easy to create new relationships. You need to be able to work independently and drive development issues within the area.
