About the position:

We at Olivia are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant part-time, approximately 40%, for our client in Hornstull (Södermalm). We are also looking for someone who can work as needed during the absence of regular assistants, such as during vacations or illness. There will also be opportunities to work more during the summer.

We are looking for someone with experience working as a personal assistant and who has their heart in the right place. You will be an important part of our client's daily life and will help him with various activities and routines.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM Weekdays
• 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Weekends

There will be opportunities to take extra shifts if desired.

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see you start the onboarding process immediately.

About the client

Our client is a young man in his late teens with a great interest in horses. He also enjoys swimming in the pool. He needs your help as an assistant in his daily life due to a mental disability.

He also has difficulty speaking and walking and communicates with sounds and pictures. Therefore, he needs a calm, secure, and experienced person who can be there for him.

The client's relatives prefer male applicants.

The tasks are as follows:

• Assist with daily routines such as household chores
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals
• Accompany him to the stable
• Accompany him to the swimming pool
• Accompany him on activities such as coffee breaks and museum visits

We are looking for someone who is attentive, proactive, solution-oriented, and engaged, as personal suitability is of great importance.

As a personal assistant, you will have a varied and valuable task where you can truly make a difference in another person's life. If you can also work in the summer, that is an additional merit.

Requirements:

• Not allergic to pets
• Tolerate chlorine and be a good swimmer
• Experience as a personal assistant

Merits:

• Experience with epilepsy
• English spoken and written
• Education in healthcare and social care

Employment rate: 1 position 40% with varying working hours. 1-2 substitutes as needed.

Start date: Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
