What We Do and Want

The organization provides services in regular housing such as housing support, day activities, open activities, and home care that serve customers throughout Tyresö municipality.

Our office is located at Bollmoravägen 28D next to Tyresö center.

Tyresö municipality works to offer individuals tailored and qualified support in their own homes to promote mental health and participation in community life so that every citizen can ultimately live their life as independently as possible, based on individual conditions and abilities.

The organization consists of 6 units and is led by a manager and six unit leaders. We strive for each employee to have a good balance between work and leisure.

Tyresö municipality is a Silvia-certified municipality, and all employees undergo individual training held by Silviahemmet, funded by the employer.

About the Position

Housing support is a motivation-based and pedagogically oriented intervention combined with practically designed assistance. The housing support is based in the individual's home but can also include support in everyday situations outside the home. The intervention is provided to strengthen the individual's ability to manage their daily life and combat social isolation.

The intervention is offered to individuals following a support decision from various parts of social services and concerns the following target groups:

• Mental disabilities
• LSS
• Problematic substance use and gambling
• Victims and perpetrators of violence
• Other social issues

Who Are You?

You have at least a high school diploma in care and nursing as a nursing assistant.

Courses in: MI, violence, social pedagogy and treatment work, mental and physical disabilities, psychiatry, addiction studies, and social work are advantageous.

We currently have a great need for language skills in Dari, Persian, and Arabic.

A driving license (B) is required.

Experience in care and nursing.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, which means a professional approach towards our clients, good collaboration skills, the ability to work independently, and make quick decisions when required. The work is varied and demands flexibility. You should be computer literate and proficient in Swedish as we conduct daily social documentation.
