About Hercules and Region North

Every day we face a variety of challenges. Thanks to effective and well-proven methods, we can perform foundation work in the most complex ground conditions, primarily using various types of piling and support structures. As one of the leading foundation companies in the Nordic region and a wholly-owned subsidiary of NCC, we have the privilege of helping our clients lay the foundation for the buildings and facilities of the future. In the Northern region, we carry out foundation work in both small and large projects. Hercules operates throughout the country and works with both NCC and external clients. The position belongs to Region North and is primarily located in Örebro County but may also involve work in other locations within the region during certain periods.

The Role of Site Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for leading production in accordance with the project's timeline and established weekly plans. You will ensure that the work complies with laws and regulations, ensure a safe workplace, and participate in the development of risk assessments and work preparations. You will also be responsible for planning and ordering subcontractors and reporting any obstacles, changes, and deviations to the site manager.

If necessary, you will prepare for and participate in construction meetings, and you will ensure that daily documentation is carried out by writing a diary after each workday. Site management may occur on multiple projects simultaneously, and travel may be required.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have several years of experience in civil engineering and foundation work within the contracting business, as well as previous experience in a supervisory role or another leadership function within construction and civil engineering production.

You thrive in a leadership role where you allocate tasks and provide clear directives to ensure efficient and safe production. With a results-oriented approach, you plan and structure the work to meet timelines and deliver high quality. You also have a good understanding of project economics and can analyze revenues and costs to make well-informed decisions.

Furthermore, we see that you are communicative and enjoy a role where you collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, and other project members. You have the ability to build trust and establish long-term relationships, contributing to successful projects and satisfied customers.

For the position, it is required that you:

  • Have a good understanding of project economics and decision-making related to revenues and costs
