In the role of construction engineer - estimator with us at OBK, you will be one of four employees in a similar role. You will work to drive the process from tender documents to bid proposals. You will have individual responsibility for your objects/projects but will be supported by others in the team.

You will work with the entire estimating process, which includes the entire chain within estimating and bidding, planning, analysis, and parts of purchasing. You will also prepare documentation for pricing and project planning and be involved in the procurement of materials and subcontractors, often working closely with colleagues on these matters and alongside our project managers.

You will be an important cog throughout the construction projects and their chain. In your role, you will have close contact with colleagues at OBK as well as clients and suppliers.

We are looking for someone with education in the field and/or previous experience in a similar role within the construction, civil engineering, or contracting industry. Experience in purchasing is considered an advantage.

You have the ability to independently plan your work and manage multiple projects simultaneously. You can prioritize even in high-tempo situations. As there will be internal and external contacts, it is important that you enjoy engaging in dialogue with others.

You are technically knowledgeable in construction, and we prefer that you have an interest in the entire process regarding estimating and purchasing. However, we have many knowledgeable colleagues at OBK who support you all the way. You have a good ability to see connections and contexts and possess strong system competence. If you also have experience working in the estimating system MAP, we consider that an advantage.
