ABOUT THE POSITION

Vattenbyggnad is now expanding the team with an experienced designer. We are looking for someone whose heart beats a little extra for CAD and construction. At Vattenbyggnad, you are given a role with the opportunity to plan and organize your own work. Additionally, you will be offered great opportunities to influence the company's working methods regarding CAD and construction, as you will be responsible for establishing templates and structures in this area. This role gives you the opportunity to influence and further develop the construction work at the company, where you can put your stamp on working methods and processes.

At Vattenbyggnad, you are welcomed to a familiar and open workplace. Here, the work climate is unpretentious and decision-making paths are short. The company was founded in 2020 with its headquarters in Örebro, and has since grown to about 30 employees with offices in Örebro, Karlstad, and Lindesberg. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Process cases as a drafting technician in software such as Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD, or similar
• Conduct structural calculations regarding steel, concrete, and timber constructions
• Prepare construction documents regarding concrete, reinforcement, steel, and wood in water construction projects
• Participate in competence development and knowledge sharing within the team and the company

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Possesses very good CAD skills in Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD, or another related software. This knowledge should represent at least 1-3 years of work experience in the field.
• Has competence in load case calculations and dimensioning for construction documents
• Has good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, mainly in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish as it is required for the tasks
• Holds a B driver's license, as travel to clients occurs in the position

It is a merit if you have

• Previous experience in CAD design within water, bridges, or similar deemed relevant for the position
• Previous experience in steel and concrete construction focused on larger facilities
