About the Logging Section in the IT Security Department
The section is part of the Swedish Armed Forces' organization for managing IT systems and consists of both employees and consultants within a wide range of competencies. The section's task is to develop, manage, and operate functional, secure, and robust IT systems to support the Swedish Armed Forces' operational capability in the field of IT security.
Main Responsibilities
The Logging Section consists of several autonomous groups with different areas of responsibility that collaborate to solve the common task. The role of test leader is being recruited to the group responsible for the development of the logging component LIA. In close collaboration with other groups, you will primarily work with operational testing, but also with incident/problem management and method development, etc. The main responsibilities and duties of the role include:
- leading and planning testing activities
- reviewing and analyzing requirements
- identifying and specifying test cases
- conducting functional system and system integration tests
- performing business validation (acceptance tests)
- automating tests
- compiling test results
- contributing to the qualification/handling of incidents/problems for the application.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- relevant academic education or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way
- several years of experience in project work and system management
- documented experience in practical testing work - specifically system tests and system integration tests
- good ability to express oneself pedagogically in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- experience in test management and test planning

DESIRABLE
- certification in testing such as ISTQB or equivalent
- experience in performance testing
- experience in automated testing and tools for automated testing, e.g., Selenium
- experience working with Git
- experience with DevOps
- experience with Linux
