Personal Assistant Wanted

Hello!

I am a cheerful and lively 24-year-old guy living in my own apartment in Södermalm. Due to a CP disability since birth, I require assistance around the clock to live my life. I have epilepsy and eat via PEG. I can answer yes or no to questions, but otherwise, I communicate through facial expressions, sounds, and body language. My interests include swimming, music, and hanging out with friends, but I also enjoy audiobooks, movies, and board games.

I am looking for an additional assistant who can work as a substitute when needed.

Job Responsibilities

Personal assistance is about providing service - assisting me so I can live my life. This includes everything that is part of my daily life. My disability means I need help with almost everything; such as communication, tube feeding, hygiene, and dressing. You will assist me wherever I am; at home, out in the city, or when I am at my daily activities.

Who are you?

It is an advantage if you have previous experience in a similar role. You should have a strong work ethic and enjoy being busy regardless of the time of day. I want you to be engaged in your work and support both me and my other assistants, be unpretentious and attentive to my needs, and have a professional and positive attitude towards the job - you are incredibly important in my life! I am looking for someone with caregiving experience, preferably in personal assistance. You should be social, flexible, attentive, and responsible. I would like you to take initiative and be creative. Being independent but also able to collaborate with other assistants is important. Attention to detail and flexibility are qualities I highly value. I have lifting aids, but the job still involves physical tasks, so it is good if you have good physical fitness. Speaking Swedish fluently is a requirement to work with me, and you must be smoke-free (even outside of working hours).

About the Position

A substitute as needed to cover the absence of regular assistants.

Working hours are variable based on need during the day, evening, night, and weekends.

Start date to be agreed upon.
