JOB DESCRIPTION

Olovslundskolan is looking for an engaged and motivated childcare worker for a temporary position, primarily until summer, who wants to make a difference for our students.

As a childcare worker at Olovslundskolan, you will work with the team to lay the foundation for lifelong learning that is fun, safe, and educational for all students. Your tasks include pedagogical documentation, being responsible for planning, leading, implementing, evaluating, and developing teaching. For this, you need to be well-versed in the governing documents of the after-school center.

You will plan and implement education in a way that promotes students' development, health, and well-being together with the team. Your mission involves meeting all students with respect for their individuality and providing each student with the opportunity to develop trust and self-confidence. Your tasks include collaborating with families and creating trusting relationships with both guardians and your colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is adaptable to changing circumstances and can quickly adjust their perspective and approach
• Takes initiative and easily starts activities
• Is outgoing and socially active in professional contexts. Contacts students and guardians and can build and maintain a trusting relationship
• Understands how background, culture, and group affiliation affect oneself and others. Aware of how their own values influence and guide their actions and reactions
• Shows understanding of the different conditions for women and men/girls and boys in society
• Treats everyone equally and acts to promote equal treatment regarding resources, opportunities, and accessibility
• Is calm and controlled in stressful situations. Maintains a realistic perspective on situations and focuses on the right things

• Qualified childcare worker

Meritorious:

• Experience in pedagogical work in after-school centers

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
