Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary according to the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• Wants to work with a woman in her 55s living in Lidingö
• Is positive, attentive, and takes own initiatives
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Is tolerant and comfortable with dogs
• Is smoke-free (during working hours)

It is also advantageous if you:

• Have previous experience in personal assistance
• Have a driver's license and a car

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

We are now looking for two summer substitutes with an employment rate of approximately 80% during the relevant weeks. The working hours are scheduled as follows:

Substitute 1 July 1 - July 31, weekdays and weekends 7 AM - 2 PM Substitute 2 July 27 - August 11, weekdays and weekends 2 PM - 10 PM

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

The substitutes start on July 1 and July 27, respectively, before which you will be offered shadowing expected to take about a week.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
