Arena for Development is now looking for summer substitutes for all our operations in Stockholm!

More about us

At Arena for Development, we have extensive experience in conducting daily activities within LSS and are currently located in several places around Stockholm and its surroundings. We meet daily with individuals with various congenital disabilities or those who have acquired a brain injury in adulthood. Together, we create joy, safe relationships, engagement, and opportunities. We genuinely care, learn together, and meet each person here and now. Our work is driven by the vision of creating opportunities for all the individuals we meet to develop beyond today's limits and together build an Arena for Development where You are Truly Important!

About the position

We want the summer at Arena for Development to offer something extraordinary. As a summer substitute with us, you contribute to creating an operation filled with summer activities, excursions, joy, and a touch of gold in everyday life.

Some of the key tasks in the role of summer substitute include:

· creating safe and trusting relationships

· leading and conducting various activities together with our participants

· managing social documentation

· contributing to keeping the summer spirit alive in our operations!

As a summer substitute and coach at Arena for Development, you also share our fundamental values regarding human perception, morality, and ethics. We are here for the sake of our participants and not the other way around. Employees and participants have different roles but the same value – Value 1!

We are looking for someone who is good at and enjoys creating meetings with other people, shares our values, and WANTS to create opportunities for all the individuals we meet to develop.

It is in the meeting between you and the participant that opportunities are created and development can occur. Therefore, we place great importance on your personal competencies. Being secure in yourself, relationship-building, collaborative and solution-oriented, structured, and responsible are important personal tools to use in our work.
