In our unit, we are 17 employees including a unit manager and team leaders who work with authority exercises for adults, both harmful use and addiction as well as domestic violence.

We have a good collaboration with the addiction reception and have close access to support resources, such as alcohol and drug therapists, budget and debt advisors, and housing social interventions. This allows us to work with a low threshold and quickly provide the right support to our clients.

Your role

As a temporary social worker with us, you will work with authority exercises for adults and play an important role in:

• Covering for colleagues during their leave and handling incoming cases.
• Motivating and supporting clients towards change.
• Following up on interventions and helping clients achieve a stable living situation.
• Handling driving license statements.

You will receive support for all tasks as needed and will not be left alone even though you are expected to work independently.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone who is structured, good at collaboration, and flexible. Factors such as personal maturity and stability will also be considered. If you also have the ability to build relationships, you may be the right candidate for us! We appreciate a consistent effort to ensure the best outcomes for our clients and a genuine interest in addiction issues. At the same time, it is important to maintain professionalism in the work and the ability to recognize small progress.

Experience in investigative work within social services or experience in social work with harmful use and addiction is an advantage. Similarly, experience working with documentation in the Paraplysystemet is beneficial.

Education: Degree in social work or an equivalent education assessed by the employer. The City of Stockholm works with competency-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's skills and thereby counteracting discrimination.
