I am a 39-year-old man with a physical disability, partially able to walk, looking for a new part-time assistant (50-75%). I work at the support team Nytida and live in my own apartment. As an assistant, you will accompany me to work, the gym, swimming training, and to meet my friends.

I have speech difficulties and sometimes need support in my communication with others. As we get to know each other, you will understand what I say more easily. I also use Bliss (a graphic symbol language) as a complement.

I also need assistance with tasks that I cannot do myself, such as shopping, cooking delicious meals, helping during mealtimes, and managing my home.

I enjoy listening to music and the radio, watching movies on TV, especially crime dramas and “Vägens hjältar”. It would be great if you share some of my interests.

I like to be where things are happening and enjoy hanging out with friends. Sometimes we do activities together and go on trips, for example to Åre for skiing or the Canary Islands with the swimming club.

You who are applying should be non-smoking, social, patient, and aged between 30-45 years. It is important that you are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. I also welcome female applicants.

The shifts are scheduled according to a rolling 4-week schedule. I need assistance around the clock with sleeping on-call during the nights. We have regular assistant meetings, and there are opportunities to influence your working hours in some cases.
