System Administrator

The role can vary depending on the size and requirements of the organization, and the sysadmin can specialize in specific areas such as networking, security, or databases, depending on the organization's needs.

Database Administrator

A database administrator, often abbreviated as DBA, is an IT professional who specializes in managing and maintaining databases within an organization. Their main task is to ensure that databases function correctly, are optimized for performance, and are kept secure. Database administrators play a critical role in ensuring that the organization's data is accurate and available when needed. They must have a good understanding of database technology, security, and performance optimization. The role can vary depending on the specific database type and the organization's needs, and the DBA can specialize in relational databases, NoSQL databases, or other database technologies.

Your profile and qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience working with 2nd or 3rd line support
• Knowledge of server administration in a mixed IT environment
• Very good knowledge of Azure AD
• Extensive experience in deeper troubleshooting of clients and servers
• Basic knowledge and interest in the database layer
• Experience handling urgent cases and incidents in a case management system

Advantageous

• Driver's license
• Responsibility for onboarding new staff
• Experience driving internal projects in a Service Desk
