Do you want to work with technical solutions within air traffic while contributing to society-critical communication? LFV is now looking for a CNS Systems Engineer to join our team at Arlanda Airport. About the role
In the role of Systems Engineer, you will be offered a challenging and stimulating job in an exciting environment within our aviation unit, focusing on air traffic control systems, communication, navigation, and radar systems (CNS). You will be a crucial link in maintaining the technical safety of aviation and air traffic.
The work includes both preventive and corrective maintenance of complex and unique systems. You will also be involved in various projects related to the different system groups. Below are examples of our different areas:
- Radio systems
- Navigation systems
- Radar systems
- Air traffic control systems
- Meteorological systems
- IP networks and PC applications
Most of the systems at the airport are of a unique nature. Therefore, as a Systems Engineer, you will undergo basic training and a number of specific advanced courses. You will work for a company that is a leader in its industry and become part of a team consisting of ambitious and engaged colleagues.
You will also travel to nearby technical facilities to handle equipment outside of Arlanda. The work is performed both independently and in close collaboration with other systems engineers, following applicable quality and safety requirements. On-call duties are included in the role.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have a technical background, with at least a three-year upper secondary education in technology or a university degree in engineering. You preferably have experience in radio technology, analog and digital electronics, as well as mechanics, and feel confident working with telecommunication technical systems.
We would like you to have experience with:
- Radio technology and telecommunications.
- Antenna systems, radio links, or transmission solutions.
- Operation and maintenance of technical systems.
- Experience with airport or aviation systems, as well as electrical competence, is meritorious.
You have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in speech and writing. A valid manual B driving license is required for the role, and you will need to be approved for mast climbing. As a person, you have a strong interest in technology and thrive in a role where you take responsibility and contribute to socially vital operations. You are proactive, structured, and have good teamwork skills. Your work is characterized by quality, safety, and a high level of service.
The position is a permanent employment with the location in Stockholm.

Before employment, LFV conducts a security clearance which includes, among other things, register checks, security interviews, and drug tests. This position requires Swedish citizenship.
