About the role

As an IT Security Specialist with a focus on vulnerability management, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing routines, processes, and technical systems related to vulnerability management. As the Government Offices continue to digitalize their operations, you will become a key and central actor in security discussions, both in various projects and in architectural contexts, where you contribute your expertise to both strategic and technical issues.

The role also involves developing and maintaining systems that raise the overall IT security within the Government Offices. To ensure current and effective security work, you conduct continuous environmental monitoring with a focus on vulnerabilities, threat landscapes, and new technical solutions.

Your background

To be considered for this role, you must meet all mandatory requirements. We would also like you to meet some or all of the merit-based criteria.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience working with IT security-related issues, including vulnerability management and administration of antivirus solutions.
• Good knowledge within the IT security field and experience with EDR/XDR-based antivirus solutions.
• Ability to communicate clearly and in a coaching manner.
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English.
• A high school diploma with documented interest in IT security, or other relevant work experience that the employer deems equivalent.

Merits:

• Experience with security tools in the M365 platform.
• Previous experience with penetration testing.
• Certification(s) in IT security, e.g., CISSP.
• University degree.

Other information

We are looking for one or more IT Security Specialists. The position is a permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The position is classified and a security clearance with background check will be conducted before a decision on employment is made. You must be a Swedish citizen, but may have a foreign background.
