To one of our clients in the defense industry, we are looking for a LINUX Technician. You will become a key person in the team responsible for the management and further development of critical technical services. You ensure the availability of systems and digital services, where security, stability, and precision are always in focus.

The position can be based in Järfälla or Solna.

Your responsibilities

• Standardize, streamline, and automate work processes and systems.
• Participate in projects related to the technology platform.
• Work in operations and support teams with troubleshooting and installations.
• Manage patching and upgrading of server environments.
• Ensure that security requirements are met.
• Actively contribute to the improvement of technology and processes.

Your profile

We are looking for you with an interest in technology and good knowledge of LINUX, preferably with experience from larger operational environments with several different operating systems. You are precise, service-oriented, and thrive in a team. Additionally, you have the ambition to drive work towards automation and find more efficient ways of working.

As a person, you are communicative, curious, and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating with different types of people, both internally and externally, and are happy to come up with improvement suggestions.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in LINUX with a focus on server operations.
• Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Security mindset regarding automated configuration management.
• Strong technical interest and desire to keep up with the latest technology.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license (Travel within Sweden occurs)

Meritorious experience:

• Red Hat, SUSE Manager, or similar tools.
• Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes.
• System hardening.

The position requires approval according to current security protection regulations, which may imply citizenship requirements.
