We at Eccera are specialists in IT and infrastructure, which you likely know! We work with support, operations, and networking, and we are now looking for more skilled network engineers specializing in Cisco – both junior and senior – for assignments with our customers in the Stockholm area. Your responsibilities

Whether you are senior or junior, the overarching description of your daily life as a network engineer is problem solver! You will dive deep into network-related problems of various types and complexities. Depending on your experience and competence, you may work closely with the customer on configurations or in the server room. There is also the possibility to work more generally with distribution between these environments.

As a network engineer, as mentioned earlier, you work primarily with problem-solving, but you will also work with troubleshooting, setup, and maintenance in your area. Working with DNS/DHCP is part of your daily routine, as well as working with VPN solutions – how exciting does that sound?

Are you, just like us, someone who values security highly in all shapes and forms? Great, then you have the opportunity to work with firewalls, from troubleshooting, updating, and setup! Since we are looking for network engineers within Cisco, you can probably figure out that you will be working with Cisco firewalls!

You need to be able to act quickly and think fast in critical situations, for example when an alarm goes off that a network is down. Who do you contact if not you, who works with NOC? Yes, you read that right! We are also looking for you who work as a NOC technician! Within NOC, you will respond to incoming alarms. If it is not a network that has gone down, it might be some other network-related problem where your main task is to isolate the problem.

Working as a network engineer within Cisco will be varied, depending on your experience and which of our customers you will work for.

Your profile and qualifications

To succeed in the role of network engineer, we see that you are flexible as a person; you need to be ready to adapt to new environments. You have good communication skills and can express yourself very well orally and in writing in both Swedish and English. With your tactical way of thinking, you have the ability to analytically optimize and plan. Furthermore, we see that you are a team player who values good collaboration.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience with Cisco networking
• Fluent in Swedish and English (speaking and writing)
• Experience with DNS/DHCP
• Knowledge of VPN tunnels, VPN clients
• Experience with WAN
• Experience configuring routers, switches, and ports
• Post-secondary education in networking or other relevant education
