About the job
The Swedish Tax Agency has high ambitions to contribute to the digital transformation taking place in Sweden. The IT department of the Swedish Tax Agency is one of Sweden's largest, with approximately 1,700 employees responsible for the development, operation, and management of the agency's IT landscape.
At the IT department, we develop digital infrastructure for other authorities and for all of Sweden, and we collaborate with other authorities. We work on AI solutions for faster and more efficient information handling, solutions for handling VAT and employer contributions, as well as data warehouses for sharper analysis and better control.
The assignment involves working as a UX Designer as part of a development delivery, where your task is to design the user experience for the systems and services we develop in close collaboration with the business, product owners, developers, testers, and other designers.
The role involves translating customer insights and technical prerequisites into user-friendly and accessible solutions by creating interactions, concepts, and flows. You are expected to contribute both strategically and operationally to the development of UX work within the delivery and create solutions that exceed users' needs and expectations. You work both independently and together with others, and we help each other in a flat hierarchy. We work using an agile approach with SAFe as the framework.

About you

In this job, you should:

- have good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish

You must also have:
- a relevant higher education of at least 180 hp (120 credits) in UX/interaction design, or equivalent experience assessed by the employer as equivalent
- several years of current and relevant work experience in system development
- good knowledge of UX methods and experience in planning and facilitating workshops
- experience in UI design and working in established design systems
- experience with design tools such as Figma or equivalent
- experience working in complex business environments
Furthermore, it is meritorious if you have current and relevant work experience in accessibility work according to WCAG, experience working in larger organizations, and current and relevant experience with agile working methods.
Good to know
The employment is permanent and may start with a six-month probationary period.
