It is on behalf of the Government that the Swedish National Property Board (SFV) manages our shared natural and cultural heritage. We manage a variety of state-owned properties – including government buildings, courts, palaces and royal residences, theaters, museums, embassies, as well as one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land.

The Security Unit is responsible for information security, security protection issues, coordination and development of work with other security matters, as well as security protection-related administrative and methodological work. We now need to strengthen our unit with a Security Protection Officer. The work is mainly of an operational nature, but strategic tasks are also present within all areas of responsibility of the unit.
Your Role
As a Security Protection Officer here, you work in an outward-facing operation with many contact points, both internally and externally. You will be part of a small team within the unit, working in close collaboration with the operations and other support functions.
You will work with:
- Supporting the operations in the preparation of special security protection assessments and reviewing them
- Being responsible for conducting consultations with the Swedish Security Service (SAP) when operations are exposed, and handling security protection agreements including register checks
- Conducting suitability assessments and supplier assessments
- Conducting follow-up and control of security protection
- Contributing to the further development of operations, processes, and system support
Depending on your background and experience, you are also expected to work with several parts of the security and security protection field.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant post-secondary education in security and security protection, or equivalent competence deemed equal by the employer
- Several years of experience in the field of security protection
- Good knowledge of the Security Protection Act
- Good IT skills as a user
- Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
Meritorious with experience of working with:
- Security protection agreements
- Special security protection assessments
- Personnel security
- Job analysis
- Information security
- Physical security
It is also meritorious if you are already accustomed to working in a project format and have experience working in the public sector.

You will be employed as: Security Protection Officer
Employment type: The position is a permanent full-time position. SFV applies a 6-month probation period.
Location: Stockholm
Start date: According to agreement
Remote work possibilities: There are limited opportunities for remote work.
Before a decision on employment is made, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may be conducted. If the position involves a security classification, the security clearance will also include a register check, and in some cases, Swedish citizenship is required.
The Swedish National Property Board operates in industries exposed to various risks of irregularities; therefore, preventive measures include positions where suitability assessments are conducted.
