Do you want to help develop parasports in our district and create conditions for more people to participate in sports based on their own prerequisites?
We are looking for an engaged and development-oriented operations manager who wants to lead and develop our operations together with the board, employees, associations, and partners.
About the position
As the Operations Manager, you have overall responsibility for the daily operations. You lead the office work, implement the board's decisions, and drive the operations towards the goals decided by the annual meeting.
You will become a central figure in the work to develop parasports in the district and build good relationships with member associations, municipalities, district sports federations, special sports federations, authorities, and other partners.
Your main tasks
- Lead, plan, and develop operational activities.
- Responsible for operational planning, follow-up, and reporting.
- Budget and financial responsibility.
- Personnel responsibility for the office staff.
- Build and develop collaborations with associations and external actors.
- Work with projects, grant applications, and financing.
- Represent the federation in various contexts and contribute to positive and inclusive leadership.
We are looking for someone who
- Has experience in leadership and operational development.
- Is a confident and clear leader who creates engagement and involvement.
- Has good organizational and administrative skills.
- Is used to working independently while appreciating collaboration.
- Has experience with budgeting and financial follow-up.
- Has very good communication skills in speech and writing.
- Shares the values of the sports movement and has a strong commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities for all people.
Experience from the non-profit sector, the sports movement, or the disability rights area is meritorious.

Employment
- The position is a fixed-term contract with very good opportunities for continued employment.
- Full-time.
- Work in the evenings and on weekends occurs.
- Travel within the district is included in the position.
Start date
As soon as possible, by agreement. We conduct ongoing selection and prefer an early start, but can offer flexibility regarding the start date for the right candidate.
