Forenom is now looking for an Area Manager responsible for the Gothenburg region. This is a key role for you who want to lead local operations, develop strong market relationships, and drive profitable growth in a company with a clear position in the corporate housing sector.
Forenom is one of the leading players in furnished accommodations in Northern Europe. The company helps companies and organizations with flexible housing solutions for business travel, relocation, project housing, and longer stays. The offering includes furnished apartments, apartment hotels, and other housing types that make it easier for people to feel at home, regardless of where their job takes them.
About the roleAs Area Manager, you are responsible for Forenom's operations in the Gothenburg region. You have overall responsibility for service operations, commercial development, capacity, quality, profitability, and local development.
The role is both strategic and operational. You drive the area's business plan, monitor results, and ensure that daily operations function efficiently. You are also responsible for ensuring the right capacity in the region based on demand, occupancy, and future business opportunities.
At the same time, you build relationships with property owners, customers, partners, and other local stakeholders to create conditions for continued growth. You work closely with the sales organization, revenue management, and other functions within Forenom. You report to the Operations Director, Areas.
Your responsibilitiesIn the role, you are responsible for, among other things:
- Leading and developing operations in the Gothenburg region
- Having commercial responsibility for the region and contributing to profitable growth
- Ensuring the right capacity based on demand, occupancy, and future needs
- Ensuring high quality in service, cleaning, maintenance, and customer service
- Driving the area's P&L and working actively with profitability, margins, and cost control
- Monitoring KPIs and implementing improvements related to operations, quality, and results
- Leading, supporting, and developing the team in the area
- Ensuring the right staffing based on season, occupancy, and demand
- Working with capacity, sourcing, and relationships with property owners
- Building and maintaining local relationships with customers, landlords, suppliers, and partners
- Identifying business opportunities and contributing to growth in the region
- Collaborating with sales in customer dialogues, local initiatives, and commercial opportunities
- Ensuring that working environment, safety, and relevant regulations are followed
We are looking for you who have experience leading operational activities with clear result responsibility. You may come from hospitality, service, property, facility management, staffing, retail, or other operations where quality, people, customer experience, and profitability are central.
You are used to combining daily operations with long-term development. You understand how to create structure, build teams, develop processes, and drive results through both people and numbers.
We believe you have:- Experience in operational leadership
- Experience in personnel responsibility and team development
- Understanding of P&L, costs, margins, and profitability management
- Experience working with KPIs, monitoring, and improvement work
- Good commercial understanding and ability to see local business opportunities
- Ability to ensure the right capacity based on business needs
- Strong relationship skills towards customers, partners, property owners, and internal teams
- Ability to create structure in an environment where the pace can change quickly
- Good knowledge of English
It is meritorious if you have experience from corporate housing, hotels, apartment hotels, property, rental, relocation, project housing, or other operations with local operations and high service level.
