We are now looking for a Security and Preparedness Coordinator for the municipality's administrative office!

Åtvidaberg Municipality works towards the goal of a safe and robust municipality where our operations function even during unexpected stressors. The unit works, among other things, with safety and crime prevention, information security, data protection, security protection, civil preparedness, and other security issues.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you are part of the municipality's safety and crime prevention work and collaborate with external parties. As a Security and Preparedness Coordinator, you will work with the following tasks:

• Coordinate and drive the municipality's crime prevention and security work, including information security
• Coordinate and drive the municipality's civil preparedness work, such as continuity planning
• Continuously monitor the external environment within your areas of responsibility
• Plan and conduct training initiatives and exercises within your areas of responsibility

You who apply

We are looking for you who have post-secondary education; a university degree, preferably with a focus on information security, political science, crisis preparedness, risk management, or civil protection, or another post-secondary education combined with experience that the employer considers equivalent.

You need to have experience in crime prevention, security work, or civil preparedness. If you have experience in two or all three areas, we consider it meritorious. It is also meritorious if you have experience in this context within a municipality. Furthermore, experience in process or project management is meritorious.

As a person, you take initiative and make quick and clear decisions, both independently and together with others. You take responsibility for your tasks, have a structured approach to work, and drive your assignments forward by planning, organizing, following up, and closing them. Furthermore, you have a professional language in both speech and writing with the ability to convey information to different target groups.

About the recruitment process

The position is classified for security clearance, and to be considered for the position of Security and Preparedness Coordinator, you must have Swedish citizenship. The position will be filled after a successful security clearance check.
