As an employee in Gislaved Municipality, you are a co-creator at your workplace. You are given the opportunity and expected to contribute to the development of the operations through your knowledge and experience. With us, respect for differences and the equal value of all people are fundamental.

We are now looking for you who want to make a real difference, become part of our dedicated and wonderful HR team, and join us on an exciting development journey where we together strengthen business-oriented HR work.

Who are we?

At our HR unit, there are currently 6 HR partners, 2 HR strategists, and 1 project manager, all with the same goal: to provide our approximately 130 managers with the very best conditions to lead and support our 3,000 employees – who in turn make a difference for everyone who lives, works, and visits Gislaved Municipality.

We are part of a larger HR department with around 35 colleagues across four units: the HR unit, the staffing unit, the payroll unit, and the municipal health service. Here, we work closely together, help each other across boundaries, and constantly develop our way of working. At our workplace, lack of hierarchy, team spirit, and value-creating relationships are central success factors.

Job Responsibilities

With us, you will have the opportunity to make a difference and further develop business-oriented HR work. This is done by being an HR partner to one of our administrations, where you support managers with all conceivable employer-related issues.

This means, among other things, that you:

  • work operationally close to the business and participate in the administration's management groups
  • contribute a strategic employer perspective in both daily and long-term issues within the operations
  • support managers in recruitment, rehabilitation cases, individual cases, and negotiations
  • contribute to cooperation processes and conduct training
  • are a secure and solution-oriented advisor in an environment where much happens

To the extent that the operations allow and with the manager's approval, there is an opportunity for partial remote work.

As an HR partner, you have close cooperation with your colleagues within the department while also being expected to take significant personal responsibility for your tasks.

We are looking for you who:

  • are good at creating structure and thrive when the pace and number of tasks vary
  • enjoy working independently and taking responsibility for your tasks
  • are relationship-building, enjoy collaborating, and value good communication
  • are pragmatic, lack of hierarchy, curious, and consultative in your approach
  • are flexible, solution-focused, and positive even when the rate of change is high
  • like to work independently but also value close teamwork

Qualifications

You who apply must:

  • At the time of application, have a completed and approved bachelor's degree in the field of human resources/personnel science.

Meritorious is:

  • Experience of broad HR work, preferably within public administration.

Your work style is deeply linked to your ability to collaborate and participate in the development of yourself and the operations. With us, this means that you have good cooperation with managers and colleagues, both at your own workplace and in the rest of the municipal group. You treat everyone with a high level of service, kindness, and high quality through a customer and service focus. You take responsibility for involving yourself in operational issues and are solution-oriented.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and that your view of employment matches ours.

We apply register checks (extracts from the criminal record register) as a form of suitability assessment for all who are offered employment in operations where one has direct and regular contact with children and young people.

Do you want to be part of our success? We welcome your application!

Interviews are expected to be held Wednesday-Thursday week 33.

In Gislaved Municipality, full-time employment is a right, and therefore vacant positions are advertised as full-time. When the operations can accommodate part-time, it is of course an option. Positions shorter than 3 months and certain positions may be exempted. In connection with the recruitment process, Gislaved Municipality has taken a stance on recruitment channels and marketing. We therefore expressly decline contact with media sellers, recruitment sites, and similar.
