Your new job
As Project Manager – Specialist in Digital Infrastructure (SDI), you will become part of the Property Department, which is responsible for ensuring that Jönköping Municipality's operations have functional and sustainable premises. Through long-term planning, energy efficiency, and good maintenance, the department develops, builds, operates, and maintains the municipality's properties.
In this role, you are the municipality's specialist in digital working methods in construction projects, information models, and property digitalization. You work in close collaboration with construction project managers, design managers, consultants, and other specialist functions to ensure that our construction projects follow the municipality's digital requirements and deliver the correct information throughout the entire project lifecycle.
You play a key role in creating the conditions for data-driven and sustainable property management by ensuring quality in the projects' digital information and contributing to the development of our working methods, processes, and technical standards.
The position is primarily based at the City Hall Hoven, Västra Storgatan 16, Jönköping.
Your responsibilities
- Establish and follow the planning for all SDI activities in projects
- Lead the work of implementing and following the municipality's requirements for Project Information Models (PIM), labeling, and information structure
- Ensure that projects use the Property Department's common project data environment and that the correct methodology is followed from start to handover
- Participate in decision points, reviews, and deviation management related to digital requirements and working methods
- Contribute specialist competence in property digitalization, such as IoT, automation systems, and data-driven management
- Contribute to the development of working methods, processes, and technical guidelines within digital property development
Your qualifications

You are confident in your expertise and have the courage to challenge existing working methods when you see opportunities for improvement. At the same time, you are communicative and team-oriented, with a good ability to create engagement and build trusting relationships.
Requirements
- University education in construction, engineering, property, digital systems, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer, or equivalent work experience
- Long and broad experience of participating in construction projects in roles such as project manager, design manager, BIM coordinator, or similar
- Experience in digital project execution and design methodology
- Experience working with digital tools, project data environments, and information management
- Good understanding of property management and its processes
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
Merits
- Experience in process leadership, collaboration leadership, and change management
- Education in BIM, information modeling, or property automation
- Understanding of property digitalization: IoT, sensors, automation systems, and data-driven management
