Vårdcentralen Vellinge is a well-functioning and highly regarded health center with approximately 10,000 registered patients and a Child Health Center (BVC) with around 1,250 enrolled children. Here, you become part of a dedicated team of approximately 40 employees, including general practitioners, resident doctors (ST/AT), district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, dietitians, medical secretaries, and receptionists. Together, we offer a comprehensive primary care service where the health center and BVC collaborate to provide safe, close, and cohesive care for our patients and their families.

We are now looking for a District Nurse for our BVC, which is an important part of Vårdcentralen Vellinge's operations. Here, you will join a friendly and dedicated work group and work in close collaboration with your colleagues at the health center. The BVC is located at Familjernas Hus (The Family House) in central Vellinge, where we also collaborate with midwives, social workers, and preschool teachers within the family center. Together, we continue to develop our operations with high quality, strong team spirit, and the patient in focus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We work on behalf of Region Skåne with the national child health program. You work independently but always have a colleague nearby to collaborate with. As support, the team at the family center is also available to help when needed.

The role of the BVC nurse is varied, ranging from vaccinations, home visits, doctor's clinics, health and development assessments, and above all, support for parents during one of life's most important phases.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed District Nurse with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. You have good knowledge of Swedish, corresponding to at least level C1. It is an advantage if you have experience working in primary care, BVC, or documentation in the medical record system PMO.

As a person, you are confident in your professional role, flexible, and have a professional manner of dealing with people. You enjoy working both independently and in a team, and have a genuine interest in providing our patients with good and respectful care. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
