Are you interested in a varied and developing work? Do you want to work at a workplace that continuously strives to achieve goals regarding accessibility, patient safety, equal care, and a good work environment? Then this might be the job for you!
The Cancer Rehabilitation Clinic is part of Skåne University Hospital (Sus) and provides rehabilitation for adult patients who are being treated/have been treated, cared for, or followed up medically. We strive to be a knowledge center for cancer rehabilitation and to contribute to development in the field through research, education, and supervision. Cancer rehabilitation aims to prevent and reduce the physical, psychological, social, and existential consequences of cancer and its treatment for the patient. The rehabilitation should, based on the patient's needs and wishes, provide support and conditions for the person to live a good life.
At our units in Lund and Malmö, doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, lymph therapists, psychologists, and sexologists work in close collaboration. We offer treatment and rehabilitation individually and in groups. The national care programs for cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema are our starting point in our work.
Furthermore, we continuously work with structured improvement efforts to achieve goals regarding accessibility, patient safety, equal care, and a good work environment.

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist with an interest in working within oncological and hematological operations. As an occupational therapist with us, you work with the patient in focus, and in close collaboration with your colleagues where you contribute with your specific competence as an occupational therapist. You work both on the ward and at the clinic and are involved in coordinated care planning on the oncological and hematological wards. On the wards, you have close collaboration with physiotherapists. Your tasks also include leading and developing group treatments. You work both in a cancer rehabilitation team and individually with patients.
An important part of the role is that you see the patient as responsible and involved in their own rehabilitation, where you as a professional can contribute to developing different coping strategies, convey knowledge, and contribute to motivation and acceptance. We work daily with improvement work, in which you are expected to participate actively and have the chance to develop the occupational therapy work and the unit as a whole. The unit has operations in Malmö and Lund, which may involve working in both locations, as needed. Working hours are Monday to Friday.
