Vårdcentralen Tollarp, branch Degeberga, are clinics located in the countryside, next to forests and open fields, and we have approximately 8,100 registered patients. Both locations have a strong village feel, and there is great trust in the health center. Here we offer care for both somatic and mental health issues, and we work on developing new ways of working with team-based care. We are connected to five nursing homes and provide home care in two areas.

The medical team consists of general specialists and trainee doctors. In addition to the doctor's office, we have physiotherapy, a counselor, a dietitian, a psychologist, and an occupational therapist, nursing assistants, as well as nurse-led specialist clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, elderly care, child health services (CHS), and health talks. Experienced nursing assistants work in our sample collection unit, and medical secretaries, receptionists, and administrators are an important support in daily work.

We are constantly developing, with a focus on further developing teamwork. We strive to offer patients interdisciplinary assessments based on needs from professional roles such as physiotherapist, psychologist, counselor, and occupational therapist. We actively work to utilize everyone's competencies fully. Through this, we can together provide the best care and use our resources optimally when the patient meets the right person directly.

Job Description

As an occupational therapist at Vårdcentralen Tollarp with branch Degeberga, you have varied tasks including clinic visits, home visits, and group treatments where you meet patients of all ages. You often work independently while having close collaboration with other professional categories. The occupational therapist is an important part of the team at the health center and contributes, among other things, with support regarding activity balance, structure in daily life, health-promoting measures, and hand rehabilitation.

With us, you are the first instance for diagnosing and treating injuries to the hand, forearm, and elbow. You also work with rehabilitation, cognitive assessments, activity assessments, as well as patients with long-term pain and stress-related issues. The tasks also include prescribing assistive devices and home visits planned based on patient needs.

Work assignments may be located in both Tollarp and Degeberga; in addition, we collaborate closely with other health centers in Kristianstad.

Qualifications

You who apply are a licensed occupational therapist with eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. Since travel occurs in the position, a valid B-driver's license is required.
