We are now looking for a nurse for our triage clinic for a fixed-term position of approximately 1 year. Kryddgården Health Centre is a large primary care clinic with broad competence and a comprehensive range of services. We are located in a multicultural area and meet people from all over the world every day, of different ages and with varying health conditions.

Our operations include a doctor's clinic, a laboratory, as well as physiotherapy and occupational therapy. We also have several nurse-led clinics, such as smoking cessation, asthma/COPD, diabetes, and incontinence clinics. The unit also employs a rehabilitation coordinator, a psychologist, and a social worker. The administrative team consists of medical secretaries, a receptionist, an administrator, and executive support.

Since the health centre is located in a multicultural area, there is a significant need for interpreters. We have therefore developed a working method where interpreters with various language skills are present in the waiting room throughout the week, creating good conditions for accessible and patient-safe care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of a nurse with us, you will primarily work with assessing and triaging patients via telephone, digital contact channels, as well as during drop-in visits or clinic appointments. You provide self-care advice and refer patients to the appropriate level of care or profession, such as doctors, occupational therapists, dietitians, social workers, psychologists, or physiotherapists. Emergency patient care may also be part of the role.

You work closely with other professions at the health centre and become part of an interdisciplinary team where collaboration, accessibility, and the patient's needs are at the center. The work is varied and offers you the opportunity to develop in a operation with broad competence and great variation.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the eligibility to work within the Swedish healthcare system. Proficiency in Swedish at level C1 or higher according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. Experience working in primary care is meritorious.

It is also meritorious if you have experience working in various practice systems such as PMO, PASiS, and Callguide.

As a person, you are confident in your professional role and have a good approach in meetings with patients and colleagues. You have a good ability to make medical assessments, work in a structured manner, and prioritize in a sometimes fast-paced environment. Furthermore, you are flexible, responsible, and enjoy working in a team. Personal suitability is given great importance.

The position is a fixed-term appointment of approximately 1 year.
