We are now looking for a General Practice Specialist to join Team Orange, as one of our colleagues is retiring.

Our health centre is a medium-sized, pleasant, and well-functioning healthcare unit with a solid economy. We are a health centre focused on education and development, staffed with General Practice Specialists, residents (ST-doctors), and newly graduated doctors (AT-doctors). Here, we value knowledge exchange, supervision, and collegial learning, and we have approximately 10,400 registered patients. We aim for the benchmark of 1,100 registered patients per full-time doctor to create good conditions for quality, work environment, and long-term patient relationships. We strive to work in cross-professional teams and place great emphasis on preventive work. In total, we are about 45 dedicated employees who are now looking forward to welcoming a new colleague as we wish to increase our offerings for our patients!

Team Orange will welcome you with open arms. The team consists of a nurse, district nurse, ST-doctor, AT-doctor, physiotherapist, counselor, assistant nurse, and secretary, all helping out with patients. You will have close collaboration with the team nurse in your team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities as a General Practice Specialist include scheduled clinics, acute patients, administration, and participation in the development of operations. Your duties may also include working in residential care facilities, the child health centre (the family centre Guldkornet), and the weekend clinic in Landskrona.

We actively strive for continuity where all doctors have their own defined patient list. We try to adapt your tasks in consultation with you so that your workday becomes as optimal, varied, challenging, and interesting as possible. It is important to us that you have opportunities for further education and that you receive support from both the team and your medical colleagues, ensuring a good work environment. As an experienced specialist doctor, you also have the opportunity to contribute to the supervision and competence development of our AT- and ST-doctors as well as other colleagues in the operation.

We offer flexible working hours and the possibility of some remote work for administrative tasks. We are attentive to individual wishes regarding schedules and working methods and strive to create a sustainable work environment for you.

In 2021, we started a new way of working inspired by the Alaska model, where we divided all staff into four cross-professional teams. We call our working method the Svalöv Model. Within these teams, you take care of your patients and can, if necessary, perform team visits with different professional categories present. We have rounds twice a week and the possibility to provide a direct number to each team to increase continuity when patients contact the health centre. In addition, we have "hives" three days a week, where time is allocated for patient cases.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome an engaged, knowledgeable, and positive doctor with a genuine interest in general practice. The formal requirements are that you are a licensed doctor with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare and have specialist competence in general practice. You have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. We would appreciate it if you had previous experience working in primary care.

Great importance will be placed on personal qualities such as teamwork and responsibility, as collaboration across professional categories is a given. We also value qualities such as attention to detail, flexibility, and engagement, and we look for a positive attitude. It is important to us that you have an interest in developing the operation.
