We are looking for you who have experience with qualified accounting work and want to take the step into a standardizing, advisory, and developmental role for the entire state administration.

Your role and responsibilities

As an investigator here, you contribute to the agency's standardizing work within state accounting. You help develop, interpret, and manage the regulations for state accounting with the aim of ensuring uniform and appropriate application throughout the state administration. You work with advice and support to agencies and the Government Offices, training, and government assignments – with the opportunity to influence how state accounting develops.

The work involves you:

• driving and participating in regulatory development within state accounting
• providing advice to agencies and the Government Offices
• planning and conducting training and competence development initiatives
• developing support and guidance on our website Forum for Economic Governance
• participating in government assignments

You work independently but in close collaboration with colleagues, other agencies, and the Government Offices. The role involves great variation and the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in complex accounting issues with high relevance.

You will be part of the Department for Efficient Administration, which is a large analysis department at the agency. An important task is to conduct investigations on behalf of the government.

Your background and competence

We are looking for someone who has:

• an academic degree in economics or equivalent
• several years of experience in qualified accounting work
• very good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing

It is meritorious if you have:

• experience with state accounting
• experience in conducting training or presentations

Your personal qualities

The role requires good analytical skills and judgment. You are structured, self-initiating, and have the ability to drive issues forward even in complex contexts. You are curious and keep yourself updated in your field, while also being easy to collaborate with and build trusting relationships. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
