The Department of Accounting and Finance at Stockholm Business School (SBS) is one of the largest departments at Stockholm University, with approximately 150 employees and 3,500 students per academic year. We conduct outstanding research and teaching in an open and innovative environment. Our activities focus on finance, management, marketing, and accounting.
Finance is the part of business administration that focuses on the study of all areas of finance, with a particular emphasis on risk management and derivatives, the microstructure of financial markets, and corporate governance.

Job Description
The role of the teaching assistant serves as a link between students, courses/lecturers, course coordinators, and study administration. The teaching assistant must be highly accessible to students. The main focus of the work is to support students and course instructors within FEK-I and FEK-II. Responsibilities include answering subject-related questions from students regarding course content to facilitate and support the students' learning process, as well as assisting course and program coordinators with administrative matters concerning the implementation of courses.
Qualifications
The applicant must be admitted to a first-cycle or second-cycle degree program. Good knowledge of finance equivalent to the course "Finance I" is required. The selection criteria are the applicant's own academic performance, engagement, and pedagogical ability. Experience as a teaching assistant or course assistant with a focus on finance is meritorious.
About the Position
The position is part-time at 15% of full-time and is fixed-term for a period of four months. Start date is by agreement.
