Do you want to contribute to developing the work environment in one of Sweden's largest and most complex authorities? Do you thrive in a role where you combine strategic work environment efforts with operational HR support, and where your work makes a concrete difference for both managers and employees? Then you might be the person we are looking for.

About the Department

The Work Environment Department, part of the Defence Staff at the Defence Headquarters in Stockholm, provides support and coordination to the Swedish Armed Forces' managers and HR functions regarding employer issues within the work environment, rehabilitation, and what we in the authority refer to as "unwelcome behaviour." The department employs strategists, specialists, and case handlers, and we work both independently and collaboratively in teams.

Main Responsibilities

As an HR Specialist in Investigation Support and Work Environment, you will provide support in cases related to unwelcome behaviour, contributing to ensuring safe and legally secure handling. You will also work broadly within the work environment field and contribute to developing, coordinating, and quality-assuring the authority's work environment efforts.

The work is varied and combines analysis, development work, training, advisory services, and administrative support. You will collaborate with many functions within the authority and build a wide network. Examples of tasks include:

  • Support managers and local investigators in the investigation and follow-up of unwelcome behaviour (sexual harassment, harassment, offensive treatment, and reprisals).
  • Provide guidance to personnel for preventive purposes, including action alternatives and solution-oriented counseling.
  • Support senior managers in structuring, coordinating, and developing the authority-wide investigation and work environment efforts.
  • Apply and interpret work environment legislation, including SAM and OSA.
  • Participate as an expert in bipartite groups and assignments.
  • Develop methodological support, governing documents, and routines within the investigation and work environment field.
  • Compile, analyze, and evaluate work environment data and provide recommendations to managers.
  • Monitor the external environment and drive development and change work within the investigation and work environment field.
  • Coordinate and drive internal and external networks.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Relevant academic degree or other education/experience assessed by the employer as equivalent.
  • Current and relevant experience of investigation work related to the Discrimination Act and the Work Environment Act.
  • Good knowledge of the Discrimination Act.
  • Experience of both strategic and operational work environment work in a large, complex organization.
  • Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office 365.

Personal Qualities

To thrive and fit into the role, we see that you are a structured person who plans and organizes your work effectively. You are confident in your role and have the ability to make well-balanced assessments even in complex and challenging situations. Furthermore, you are analytical and have an aptitude for understanding and evaluating information to reach well-founded conclusions. You enjoy collaborating and have an easy time building good relationships, while also contributing to a positive collaboration climate. We also place great emphasis on you having high integrity and acting professionally, responsibly, and with good judgment in your work.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education in work environment law.
  • Education in investigation methodology.
  • Experience in developing routines and guidelines.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience from the Swedish Armed Forces or other public sector operations.
