Arena Utbildning in Falun is looking for an engaged full-time nursing teacher for our healthcare and social care education. With us, you will have a meaningful and varied job where you combine teaching, practical exercises, and close contact with both students and working life.

About the role

You plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on current regulatory documents and the goals of the education. The work includes teaching, mentoring, assessment, and documentation.

You help students develop both their theoretical knowledge and the practical skills required in healthcare and social care. The teaching may include practical exercises, discussions based on real cases, preparation for workplace learning, and training in communication, interaction, and professional conduct.

You also have contact with workplace learning sites and collaborate with colleagues and working life to create a cohesive and relevant education.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have a relevant background in healthcare and social care and a strong interest in learning and development.

You could be:

• a licensed vocational teacher in healthcare and social care
• a trained nurse
• trained in healthcare and social care with substantial professional experience and a pedagogical interest

You are confident in your professional knowledge and enjoy explaining, mentoring, and motivating others. You build good relationships while being clear, structured, and able to adapt teaching to the students' different needs.

You do not need to have worked in adult education before. For us, your professional experience, pedagogical ability, and willingness to contribute to the students' development are important.

It is meritorious if you have

• teaching certification and eligibility in healthcare and social care subjects
• experience of teaching or mentoring
• experience from municipal adult education
• experience working with language development
• experience mentoring students or staff in healthcare and social care
• good familiarity with digital tools and learning platforms

Arena Utbildning provides adult education on behalf of municipalities and other public actors across Sweden. We offer education in healthcare and social care, childcare and leisure, warehousing and logistics, hospitality and tourism, Swedish for immigrants, as well as theoretical courses at basic and upper secondary levels.
