RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of Youth Centre Leader, you will work at our youth centres. The position includes day, evening, and weekend shifts.

As a Youth Centre Leader, you are part of a team where we together create meaningful, activity-based, and developmental leisure time for our children and young people during their free time. We expect you, as a Youth Centre Leader, to plan and carry out various activities. Youth Centre Leaders operate not only at the youth centres but also visit the municipality's middle and upper secondary schools, where you are expected to build relationships and conduct activities.

As a Youth Centre Leader, you communicate and collaborate with various actors such as the police, the preventive team, and the school. As a Youth Centre Leader, you will also represent the youth centres and the Youth Centre Leader role in various contexts.

The position is a fixed-term contract for two months with a possible extension. Start date according to agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a post-secondary education in social work and experience working with children and young people aged 10–16. You also have experience in planning and organizing activities. A B-class driver's license is required.

As a Youth Centre Leader, you are an important adult for our visitors, with the task of creating a safe and meaningful leisure time. You work closely with children and young people and are involved in planning, implementing, and evaluating activities that strengthen community, participation, and personal development.

You have good communication skills and express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You are self-reliant and responsible, with the ability to structure, plan, and drive your processes. At the same time, you are outgoing, good at collaborating, curious, and receptive to your surroundings.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
