Job Description

Unit 4 currently consists of a total of 18.5 positions, of which 17.5 are therapists/counselors and 1 is a housing warden. The unit is part of the department for Joint Reception and Joint Interventions within the Social and Functional Support Administration. We are now looking for two employees who can strengthen our team and support our colleagues. One of the temporary positions is for 3.5 months starting on September 15th, while the other temporary position is for 6 months starting around October 20th.

The unit works with individuals who are unable to secure housing on their own, victims of domestic violence, and we have staff working with target groups FFT, SST, and KSL. We act as landlords and handle administration and finances for the apartments rented by the Social Administration division. The unit's work also includes Supported Housing for men and women, and Housing First.

As an employee, you must be able to perform all tasks within the unit. We are currently looking for colleagues who will primarily work with support for tenants in Housing First and at the meeting place Lyckåträffen.

As an employee with us at the Social Administration, you will receive an introduction and external supervision. You will also have access to close managerial support to assist in your daily work. You will work with colleagues who are experienced, supportive, development-oriented, and enjoy a positive work environment.

The work is primarily during daytime hours, Monday to Friday, but evening and weekend work may occur. The duties also include on-call responsibility for therapists, which is currently on a rotating schedule every 10th week.

As a therapist, you will work both in a group setting and independently. The work group operates to some extent in a proactive, outreach capacity within Karlskrona Municipality.

Qualifications

• We are looking for you who have a degree in Social Work, are educated as a Social Pedagogue, Treatment Pedagogue, or have another education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Experience working with individuals with addiction and/or substance abuse issues and psychiatric problems is advantageous.
• The ability to set clear boundaries, be aware of your own role in relation to others, and handle the professional role of a therapist is very important.
• You must function well both in a group setting and be able to manage your own cases.
• As a person, you are driven by a strong commitment to vulnerable groups, have good collaboration skills, and find it easy to build good relationships with people in your surroundings. You are proactive and flexible, willing to test unconventional solutions and see opportunities rather than obstacles.
• Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
• A valid Category B driver's license is required.
