I am a 12-year-old boy living in Karlskrona with my family. I am now looking for a secure, calm, and engaged personal assistant who wants to be with me during the school day and help me have a functional, safe, and fun everyday life.

About me

I am an active boy who likes things to happen and needs a lot of stimulation and support during the day. In my free time, I enjoy, among other things:

• Baking
• Playing video games
• Being with animals
• Swimming

It is a big plus if you share some of my interests and enjoy being active.

About the position

The majority of the work takes place during school hours, approximately between 08:00 and 16:00 on weekdays. As my personal assistant, you will be by my side throughout the day and help me create structure, security, and predictability in both school and daily life.

You will help me with, among other things:

• Support and guidance throughout the entire school day
• Managing transitions between different activities
• Personal hygiene and other practical tasks
• Distracting, calming, and supporting when situations become challenging
• Creating conditions for me to focus and have the best day possible

In this role, it is important that you work preventively, can stay one step ahead, and use a low-affective approach. You need to be present, attentive, and able to adapt to the situation.

Sometimes it may be necessary to drive me to school, so a driver's license is a requirement.

Who am I looking for?

I am looking for you who:

• Are secure, responsible, and perceptive
• Find it easy to keep calm in different situations
• Are resourceful and solution-oriented
• Can work in a structured manner and stay one step ahead
• Have a genuine interest in getting to know me and understanding my way of communicating

You need to have:

• Experience working with children or people with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses
• Good Swedish skills in speech and writing
• The ability to communicate in English in daily life
• A driver's license and access to your own car

Knowledge of PECS (TAKK in Swedish) is meritorious.

Since I enjoy swimming, it is positive if you are swim competent, but it is not a requirement. If you have a pet allergy, however, the position may be difficult to combine with the work.
