At Vikvägen 7, an LSS group home is operated in a beautiful natural area with proximity to the sea, forest, and good transportation links. The facility consists of five apartments and common areas. We work based on the small group principle, which means that each user is given the opportunity for social interaction based on their individual prerequisites and wishes.

People with intellectual disabilities at an early developmental level, autism, and mobility impairments live with us. The operations are characterized by supportive presence, service, and care. As a support pedagogue, you work closely with the users in their daily lives and contribute to shaping interventions based on the individual's needs, resources, and goals.

Job Responsibilities

Do you want to combine close work with users with a developmental and quality-oriented assignment? We are looking for an engaged support pedagogue who wants to contribute to strengthening both the individual's development and the quality of the operations.

In the role of support pedagogue, you have an in-depth pedagogical responsibility and are an important resource in the daily work as well as in the development of the operations.

As a support pedagogue, you work both operationally close and with overarching quality work. You motivate, support, and guide users in various daily moments based on their individual needs, resources, and goals, with a focus on creating a meaningful and developmental existence.

You contribute to ensuring quality in the work by supporting colleagues in social documentation, implementation plans, and working methods in line with current guidelines and methods. The assignment may include mentoring colleagues, follow-up, self-control, and developing and implementing working methods that strengthen the quality of the operations.

The work is carried out both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues and other professions. You contribute to structure, clarity, and a pedagogical approach in the operations. If necessary, work may take place at other units through cooperation or joint planning.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • Post-secondary education, for example, YH education (at least 200 YH credits) in a relevant area such as support pedagogy or psychiatry, or alternatively a university education (at least 60 hp) in a relevant area
  • Driver's license class B
  • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
  • Ability to work with and be responsible for documentation

Meritorious:

  • Experience working with autism
  • Experience working with intellectual disabilities
  • Education in and/or experience with PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) as a communication tool
  • Education in and/or experience with low-affective handling
  • Education in and/or experience with clarifying pedagogy
  • Education in and/or experience with social stories and comic strip conversations
  • Education in and/or experience with Ritprat
  • Education in and/or experience with conversation mats
  • Experience working with NPD diagnoses

Who are you?

You are a secure and stable person with a pedagogical approach and a genuine interest in developing both people and working methods. You have good analytical skills and can see what needs to be developed, while also turning ideas into practice.

You are structured and organized, and have the ability to prioritize and create clarity in the work. You collaborate well with others, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive work climate. With your communicative skills, you are clear, receptive, and create trust among both colleagues and users. You are flexible and can adapt your working methods to changed needs.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-11-02.
Working hours: Schedule. Day, evening, and every other weekend. Joint duty shifts occur.

Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application period has expired.

For employment, you must present a valid extract from the criminal record register.
