About 34 dedicated employees work at Vårdcentralen Tornet, together responsible for approximately 7,600 listed patients. Here there is a broad competence with specialists in general medicine, ST and AT doctors, nurses, district nurses, nursing assistants, and several other professions.

Our operations include several specialized clinics, including an acute line, asthma/COPD, diabetes, elderly care, and smoking cessation clinics. We also have a family center with a child health center (BVC), which allows us to offer support and care for the whole family. We also have counselors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. We work in interdisciplinary teams and have a joint ward round once a week where we go through patient cases together.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

With us, you are offered a varied and stimulating job where you become an important part of our interdisciplinary operations.

As a nursing assistant, you are part of one of our two interdisciplinary teams where you work closely with doctors, nurses, and other professions. You work in blocks, where part of the position involves working as an acute nursing assistant together with a doctor and a nurse in the acute care.

The tasks are varied and include, among other things, blood sampling, ECG, glucose tolerance tests, hearing tests, blood pressure measurements, minor wound dressings, and assistance during various examinations such as gynecological examinations, proctoscopies, and rectoscopies. You are also responsible for calling patients to our specialized clinics, performing preparatory examinations, and can, depending on the needs of the business, also have your own clinic.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected job title, regardless of whether you studied according to the previous or current program structure. We would like you to have worked at a health center before. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are a requirement.

You have a genuine interest in people, give a respectful treatment, and always put the patient in focus. It is important that you have a good ability to create trust among both patients and relatives, while you are clear in your communication. In addition, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in teams across professional boundaries, while you have the ability to work independently and are confident in your professional role.
