Jefferson Wells is now looking for a Tool Preparation Specialist/Production Engineer for an exciting consultancy assignment with a leading player in the advanced manufacturing industry. About the role

As a Tool Preparation Specialist/Production Engineer, you are responsible for creating and developing production documentation for tools and test equipment. The role involves close collaboration with design, production, logistics, and procurement to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Create and prepare production documentation for tools and test equipment.
• Review design documentation and assess manufacturability.
• Optimize lead times, material consumption, and production flows.
• Participate in the development and improvement of processes and methods.
• Collaborate with procurement and suppliers regarding manufacturing solutions.
• Work in CAD and business systems to ensure an efficient production flow.

Your profile

We are looking for you who have experience in production engineering work, preferably with a focus on tools or mechanical manufacturing. You have a production engineering education or equivalent work experience and thrive in a role where technology, collaboration, and problem-solving are in focus.

We would like you to have:

• Experience in production engineering work within the manufacturing industry.
• Good understanding of mechanical machining, such as milling, turning, and grinding.
• Experience with 3D CAD and working with technical drawings.
• Experience with business or ERP systems, such as IFS, is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are structured, analytical, and proactive. You work independently while also having an easy time collaborating and building good relationships with both colleagues and external parties. Previous experience as an operator in the workshop industry or working in procurement is an extra plus.
